All The Way Up's High School Equivalency Classes are taught by knowledgeable and well-qualified instructors, supported by volunteer tutors who help our students one-on-one. Our curriculum is focused towards preparation for the HiSET Exam, one of two acceptable High School Equivalency Exams for the State of New Jersey. While we are not currently a testing facility, we can help you register for you tests once are ready to take the exam.
At All The Way Up, you are able to customize your education to fit your unique needs. For example, if you have already passed the Language Arts section of the GED exam, you can choose to focus on Math and Science with our Math/Science Zoom class. GED Class
(High School Equivalency)
Students who want to achieve their High School Equivalency certificate enter the GED track and work with tutors for preparation of the HiSET exam (GED). We use interactive computer learning as well as pencil and paper workbooks in small groups and one-on-one settings depending on students’ needs and levels of progress.

ABE - Basic Skills
(Pre-GED)
We offer small group instruction in reading/writing and mathematics to help people learn basic skills. Some students will continue on to pursue their GED and other higher education, and some will use their knowledge to prepare for certification exams in areas such as home health and retail.

Job Readiness
Seminars & Workshops
Many students seek their GED certification for their professional aspirations. We work with individuals to make sure they are well-equipped for employment exams. We hold occasional seminars throughout the semester that specifically help students prepare for interviewing, résumé writing and other job readiness skills.

Next Step
Counselor
We are excited to announce our new Next Step Counselor who will work with students to help them achieve their goals both pre and post-GED. Whether that be registering for and taking their exam, connecting them to job resources, or helping them along the college application process, we will work with individuals to ensure they are well-equipped for whatever may come next.
