At  All The Way Up, you are able to customize your education to fit your unique needs. For example, if you have already passed the Language Arts section of the GED exam, you can choose to focus on Math and Science with your tutor. Our goal is to meet you where you are to help empower you to pass your exam.

GED Class
(High School Equivalency)

Students who want to achieve their High School Equivalency certificate enter the GED track and work with tutors for preparation of the High School Equivalency exam (GED). We use interactive computer learning as well as pencil and paper workbooks in small groups and one-on-one settings, depending on students’ needs and levels of progress. Students who attend our classes are also given the option to be paired with a tutor who will work 1:1 with them outside the classroom. Classes are offered in-person and virtually. After preparation is complete with All The Way Up, we send students to a testing site to take the test. Diplomas/certificates are given by the State of New Jersey.

ABE - Basic Skills
(Pre-GED)

We offer small group instruction in reading/writing and mathematics to help people learn basic skills. Some students will continue on to pursue their GED and other higher education, and some will use their knowledge to prepare for certification exams in areas such as home health and retail.

Participating in the class will help you feel more confident and comfortable communicating in English. You will study English vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. The ESL class is for intermediate-level students. The class is taught on weekday evenings virtually and is free of charge. Please be advised that there may be a waitlist due to demand.

Job Readiness
Seminars & Workshops

Many students seek their GED certification for their professional aspirations.  We work with individuals to make sure they are well-equipped for employment exams. We hold occasional seminars throughout the semester that specifically help students prepare for interviewing, résumé writing and other job readiness skills.
