All The Way Up's GED preparation includes two parts: (1) group classes led by our dedicated instructors, and (2) individualized tutoring with a passionate volunteer tutor. Our group classes are divided into Math and Science, Reading and Writing, and Social Studies. While we currently are not a GED testing facility, we can help you register for you tests once are ready to take the exam.
At All The Way Up, you are able to customize your education to fit your unique needs. For example, if you have already passed the Language Arts section of the GED exam, you can choose to only attend our Math and Science and Social Studies classes. Our goal is to meet you where you are and focus on any areas you need the most support in so you are ultimately able to pass your High School Equivalency Exam.
Students who want to achieve their High School Equivalency certificate enter the GED track and work with tutors for preparation of the HiSET exam (GED). We use interactive computer learning as well as pencil and paper workbooks in small groups and one-on-one settings depending on students’ needs and levels of progress.
(Adult Basic Education)
We offer small group instruction in reading/writing and mathematics to help people learn basic skills. Some students will continue on to pursue their GED and other higher education, and some will use their knowledge to prepare for certification exams in areas such as home health and retail.
Many students seek their GED certification for their professional aspirations. We work with individuals to make sure they are well-equipped for employment exams. We hold occasional seminars throughout the semester that specifically help students prepare for interviewing, resumé writing and other job readiness skills.
FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
