Congratulations to our wonderful students
All The Way Up Adult Education Center marked its 9th year milestone by celebrating the 2025 graduates and adult learners at the Newark Conservatory on June 6th. The 2024-2025 sessions represented a banner academic year as our students accomplished their personal goals across all our educational platforms. The students attended the congratulatory annual affair with friends and family, sharing collegial excitement in their achievements; looking toward new career and workforce opportunities that will positively impact their lives.
We were proud to honor the six graduates for earning their High School Equivalency Certification upon successfully completing their GED exam, which includes Reading/Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science. We recognized fifteen students who passed the majority of the four sections of the exam, signaling a path forward in the year ahead. Our 106 adult learners received Certificates of Achievement, with 62 enrolled in the English as a Second Language class and 44 now studying for portions of the GED testing requirements.
The event provided the opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to our tutors and support teams, whose commitment to educate and offer the much-needed resources that aid our students’ quest for a more productive life, equipped with the necessary tools to succeed. Beyond our core in-person and online adult educational curriculum, All The Way Up Adult Education Center offers individualized counseling and job readiness training skills. Notably, in the 2024-2025 academic year, All The Way Up extended its high school equivalency/GED test preparation program to the Essex County Correctional facility in Newark.
All The Way Up is deeply committed to adhering to the mission we set forth nine years ago: Empowering adult learners to help them take one step closer toward accomplishing their goals through education, workforce opportunity, and beyond so each person can achieve their dreams for a better life ahead.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025. We are all proud of you!
